  • Tooling Capabilities
    Customers have come to rely on our competence in fabricating progressive dies and transfer arm tooling. Our tools – from mold base to inserts- are characterized by a high quality design and a long lifespan. Our range of high-end precision machines include but not limited to the following:

  • Manufacturing Capabilities
    From design to production, all our manufacturing facilities are equipped with industry’s leading software and state-of-the-art machinery to ensure products are manufactured to precision. 
    • Optical product design and simulation support using industry’s leading software such as ASAP® (Advanced Systems Analysis Program) and ZEMAX®

  • Surface Treatment Capabilities
    Surface technology is a key component of our three business segments and Unisteel provides a comprehensive range of high-end surface treatment technologies that deliver optimum performance in every application. 
    • Fasteners & Precision Metal Components        
      Electro-polishing, passivation, clean room aqueous (AQ) wash, electro-less nickel (EN) plating, UNI-LUBE® coating, physical vapor deposition (PVD), nickel plating, zinc plating and heat treatment 
    • Precision Plastic Components
      Anti-reflective (AR) coating, ultraviolet (UV) coating and ultra-sonic AQ wash
       

Quality Assurance

At Unisteel, we place a strong emphasis on the quality of our products. From incoming raw materials to finished products, we conduct stringent quality checks and performance tests at our fully-equipped test labs to ensure product accuracy and consistency. Other areas of our commitment to quality include but not limited to the following: 

  • Quality, environmental and occupational health & safety management systems at our manufacturing facilities are in compliance with international standards including ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and QC 080000 standards
  • Using globally sourced and proven material suppliers
  • Employing highly skilled and motivated workforce
  • Extensive laboratory testing of incoming materials and finished products
  • Executing production and packing processes in Class 100 clean room for critical components
  • Employing a variety of statistical process control (SPC) measurements to identify and correct variations in our manufacturing process before our products are out of specification
  • Implementing automated optical inspection (AOI) system at various stages throughout the manufacturing process to identify and remove non-conforming parts
